Mona Naffa
Mona Naffa, is an American with proud Arab roots, born and raised in the USA, sharing Jordan’s beauty and culture. After a successful career in pharmaceuticals, she transitioned into tourism, transforming experiences by sharing her love for Jordan. In 2009, Mona introduced the Expedia and TripAdvisor brands to Jordan, elevating the country as a global travel destination.
Her passions for education, travel and empowerment led to FITE (First Institute for Training and Education) to inspire, to learn, and to connect. Through her authentic storytelling, Mona invites you to see Jordan through her eyes and discover its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and timeless stories.
Luma Qusus
Luma Qusus, a Jordanian-Canadian artist and community-builder, is deeply rooted in her country’s heritage. Though trained in law, her true calling lies in connecting people, cultures, and stories.
Renowned for her jewelry brand, Inamullumani, Luma creates wearable art that transforms memories into meaningful narratives. Her collections, featured in international exhibitions, have earned several awards.
Having lived in various countries, Luma’s global experience shaped her deep understanding of the human need for connection. She channels this through creative empowerment workshops, travel experiences and storytelling.
She warmly invites you to experience Jordan through her local eyes.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Local Eye Initiative, led by visionaries Mona Naffa and Luma Qusus, is to unveil the vibrant heritage and culture of Jordan’s Holy Land through the unique perspective of local residents. We offer immersive curated trips, allowing you to explore behind-the-scenes wonders, savor local sounds, and experience our personal favorites. Engage in interactive educational activities, connect with communities, and support grassroots small businesses and artisans.
Our goal is to foster profound connections, promote understanding, and bridge the gap between Eastern and Western societies as we travel and share stories along the way. Join us on a journey of discovery, embracing the beauty and richness of Jordan through our native ‘eyes’ with the Local Eye Initiative.

Booking Process:
To confirm your reservation, please email marwa@kindatravel.com.
You will receive a secure payment link upon confirmation.
A refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the tour departure date.
Cancellation Policу:
More than 60 days before departure: The deposit will be refunded via the original method of payment.
- Between 59 and 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
From 29 to 8 days 75% of the total tour coast will be forfeited.
Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.
Tour Itinerary:
The provided itinerary serves as a general guide and may be subject to change due to unforeseen
circumstances such as weather conditions or local events.
Passports and Visas:
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring that their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the
travel date. - We will assist with obtaining a visa for Jordan if needed.
Travel Insurance:
- Travel insurance is highly recommended for all participants.
- We are not liable for any losses, delays, or expenses resulting from personal injury, accidents,
illness, theft, or other travel-related issues.
