Mona Naffa

Mona Naffa, an American with Arab roots, was born and raised in the USA and currently resides in Jordan. Transitioning from a successful pharmaceutical career, she ventured into Jordan’s Hotel and Tourism sector, a shift from medicine to memories.

In 2009, Mona established the Expedia brand in Jordan and later co-founded the Creative Development Institute. This platform intertwines education, travel, and innovation through opportunities, workshops, and student study programs. Mona continues to fuel her passion for cultural connections through travel, creativity, and storytelling, welcoming you to explore Jordan through her local eyes.

Luma Qusus

Luma Qusus Awad, a Jordanian-Canadian artist and community-builder, is deeply connected to her country’s heritage. Despite a legal background, she discovered her true passion lies in people, places, and stories.

Renowned for her jewelry brand, Inamullumani, Luma crafts wearable art pieces that transform memories into narratives. Her collections, showcased at international exhibitions, have earned numerous awards. Luma has been a pioneer in creating jewelry for charitable causes in both Jordan and Canada.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking Process:

  • All bookings are managed by Kinda Travel and Tourism in Jordan.

  • To confirm your reservation, a refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be settled 60 days before the tour departure date.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 60 days before the tour departure date: The deposit will be returned via the same method as paid.

  • Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days before the tour departure date: 50% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour departure date: 100% of the total tour cost will be forfeited.

Tour Itinerary:

The itinerary provided is a guideline and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or local events.

Passports and Visas:

It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that they have  a valid passport and any necessary visas for travel to Jordan and Israel and Palestine.

Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is highly recommended for all participants. We  are not liable for any losses, delays, or expenses incurred due to personal injury,  accidents, illness, theft, or any other travel-related contingencies.

Suggested Attire:

Jordan is a moderate Muslim country, and we advise to dress respectfully yet comfortable.  Walking shoes, cotton and khaki attire is popular amongst travelers.   You need to have a jeans jacket or a light jacket and a shawl just in case it gets chilly at night.

Generally, the weather in Jordan in sunny and dry. Temperatures during the day are 20+ with the highest temperatures mid-day with a drop in temperature at night.  The Dead Sea area is +10 degrees from the capital.

Miscellaneous:

Please bring any medication you take regularly or for cases of allergies or others.

Bring cash, you can exchange at the airport to the local currency JOD Jordanian dinars. Local communities do not have visa machines some touristic areas accept US$ or Euros

No hijab or head cover 🧕 is required anywhere except if visiting mosques
